We employ glycolic acid (mild peel) and trichloracetic acid (medium peel) solutions. These peels are safe, not overly aggressive, and do not necessitate time off from work or social activities. Peels smooth, freshen, and soften the skin. The trichloracetic acid peels are particularly effective in reducing fine lines and wrinkles, minor acne scars, and irregularities of pigment. Maximum benefit from peels is achieved when they are performed in a series and all patients should already be using glycolic acid skin care products before the treatments.
